THREE OTHER PARKING LOTS ARE BEING BUILT AT THE SOUTH-WESTERN TERMINAL OF METRO LINE M4
Drivers will able to park their cars in the parking lot at Etele tér from Monday 7 September 2015; as part of the metro project, it is behind the Volán bus station with Somogyi út elonged, and provides space for 221 cars. It is a modern, guarded and accessible parking place, the construction of which was begun in December 2014, with the contractor, KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt., having won the open public procurement procedure. The investment cost HUF 171.9 million with co-financing from the European Union. The new P+R parking lot supports intermodality, the possibility of transferring between different modes of transport, in the area.

LAST STAGE OF SPECIAL TESTING PERIOD ON METRO LINE M4 BEGINS EXPERTS TO EXAMINE THE SYSTEM FOR TWO WEEKS IN PASSENGER OPERATION
Begun in mid-March, the special testing period where the automatic train control was tested with no train-attendant intervention first in the non-service areas of the terminuses and then without passengers on the entire line comes to its last stage. This third stage beginning on Monday 13 April 2015 will, for two weeks, examine the functioning of the system in passenger operation, i.e. how long it takes for the traffic controllers and station dispatchers to find and resolve any problems that might occur – modelling the ensuing full automatic operation of the line. The tests required for the final completion certificate mean that train attendants will remain on board but will intervene only after a given time elapses; it will be primarily the duty of dispatchers to resolve any problem that might occur. These tests will be carried out under the strictest safety supervision, yet minor disruptions might be expected in the two-week period.
DURING THE LAST WEEKEND OF MARCH, BUSES WILL REPLACE METRO LINE M4 DUE TO TESTS REQUIRED FOR THE FINAL COMPLETION CERTIFICATE
On Saturday and Sunday 28 and 29 March 2015, Metro Line M4 will be out of service due to tests conducted by the transport authority, buses will replace M4 trains along the entire line, and the nos. 47 and 49 day trams will run twice as frequently as usual. Started in the middle of March along Metro Line M4, the special testing period with no train attendant intervention has come to its second stage.
THE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT SASADI ÚT TRANFERRED
As a surface-reinstatement part of the Metro Line M4 project, the construction of the new two-level junction on Budaörsi út has reached a new stage, and so, in order to commence building its diaphragm walls as soon as possible, the contractor has shifted the pedestrian overpass at Sasadi út by 20 metres in the direction of the city.
