The BAMCO consortium won the public procurement tender that was announced for the tunnel building works of Metro4.

As a subcontractor of BAMCO, the German Herrenknecht AG company manufactures the so called tunnel boring "shield" and transports it to Hungary in pieces. The animation film shown here demonstrates the working principle of the shield and is the property of Herrenknecht AG.
