One of the important features in the design of the metro station at Újbuda-központ was to allow the junction of a future branch-line towards Budafok.

The metro station will be built on the southern side of the junction. Stairs to several directions will lead up to the surface from the subway to be constructed. The subway will make the pedestrian traffic safer and quicker and give the surface a tidier appearance.

The surrounding of the Budai Skála mall is already the commercial and official centre of the region, but the metro can further stimulate this development. Investments can be realized which would never be feasible without the presence of high quality transport. Real investments of the region will class up, new office buildings and service facilities will be built.
