About the world competition
The German Write4Gold civil organization set out the only one official graffiti world competition five years ago. The competition series comprising only European countries at the beginning had taken in the whole World by 2008 and places as Rome, Vienna, Sao Paolo, Melbourne or Cape Town gave home to the event. The organization has created a tradition and a special culture around the world by launching its series of events thus, graffiti appeared to people as an illegal thing and gained much more oppositional than supporters. To average people, this artistic branch was labeled as vandalism and in the last few years has become one of the most popular and most mysterious way of expressing opinion among the youngsters. The Write 4 Gold has proved that graffiti can be indeed an esthetic experience if held in legal frames and that this movement requires a great talent and vocation in order to cultivate it at a high degree.

About NeoPaint.hu
NeoPaint.hu civil organization started to operate in the beginning of year 2004. Its aim was to present the value of the graffiti to the people firstly by holding programs and exhibitions. Only the by-product of graffiti can be seen in Budapest: the doodling, yet there are many world-class creators in the city of Budapest. The scope of the NeoPaint.hu is to color those surfaces that are not used.
