Professionals adding up to more than 500 years of experience: experts and laymen join forces for the 4th line of the Budapest Metropolitan

Leading experts of the Metropolitan project and civilian reviewers assessing critically the project met this afternoon. Főmterv Private Limited Company initiated this discussion with a view to comment face-to-face any issues and critical comments raised recently.

In the past 16 years of this Metro project a number of non-governmental organizations challenged and made critical comments regarding the project of the 4th line of the Budapest Metropolitan. BKV Private Limited Company left no issue or comment unanswered; the experts answered to the point all issues and critiques raised and they are committed to proceed in the future in the same manner. Főmterv Private Limited Company is set on the same direction by having organized this afternoon a professional round-table discussion held the first time in the Engineers’ Club “Makadám”. The experts discussed the issues raised with the leaders of the NGOs.
The most seasoned engineers joined the discussion to provide the best educated answers on behalf of the professional side. They jointly represent over 500 years of experience in the implementation of metro projects worldwide.
The Metropolitan project affects a number of professional areas; therefore Főmterv Private Limited Company invited experts of rail-guided and suburban public transport, urban development and community public transport along with the builders, designers of the Metro including engineers and architects to participate at the discussion. They are all devout supporters of the current plans of implementation of the 4th line of the Budapest Metropolitan.
In the past years all reasonable and professionally acceptable requests and ideas adding to the value of the project and benefiting the city set forth by civilians have been integrated into the designs and plans of the Metropolitan.
