30 september 2011

30 September 2011

As of 1 October, traffic order changes at Rákóczi tér (square) in the following way:

The surface works, road and pavement building, for the M4 station at Rákóczi tér were completed on 30 September 2011, and so a new traffic order will be in place as of 1 October.
From 6 a.m. this Saturday, the square will be open at its northern side for vehicles coming from József körút (the Ring). From this time on, this section will be one-way towards Vásár utca, and consequently the traffic order of Vásár utca (street) will also turn around, i.e. it will be one-way towards Víg utca, where only a left turn will be possible. Bacsó Béla utca will continue to be two-way all the way to the square.

The traffic order of the southern part of Rákóczi tér, the continuation of Déri Miksa utca, will also change; it will not be possible to access the square here, only to exit it to József körút. The order of traffic in Déri Miksa utca will not change, however it will change in Német utca to one-way from the direction of József utca towards Rákóczi tér, leading out to the Ring with a left turn at the square. The traffic order of Salétrom utca will also be turned around, becoming one-way from to the square to József utca.

On the section of József körút at Rákóczi tér, traffic lights will control movements at the both pedestrian crossings, as will lights assist cars in going out from the square to the Ring.
